ONSITE COVID-19 TESTING & FAQs

As we continue to closely monitor the latest developments surrounding COVID-19, we are aware that several countries are requiring a negative COVID-19 test result from air passengers prior to boarding an international flight to their destination.

In an effort to remain true to our commitment of providing a seamless and safe travel experience for all clients, we have actively worked to offer convenient and affordable onsite testing options for guests having to meet those requirements. 

Please see below for information on onsite testing that will be available at the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotels, UNICO 20˚87˚ Hotel Riviera Maya and Nobu Hotel Los Cabos to clients whose countries have imposed a mandatory testing requirement*, in addition to extended hotel stay coverage and onsite medical assistance insurance. The hotel concierge team will assist you onsite with scheduling your tests after you have checked in to ensure you receive the test no more than 72 hours prior to departure.

Onsite Testing for U.S. & UK Clients

All existing and new U.S. and UK clients reservations of 3 or more nights checking out between January 26 and December 31, 2021 or until the government mandate is lifted will receive 2 complimentary antigen tests per room; additional antigen tests can be purchased for $50 USD. Antigen testing meets these governments’ requirements. 

Onsite Testing for Canada, Europe, Latin American Clients: 

Clients returning to other countries with this requirement with existing or new reservations of 5 or more nights checking out between January 26 and December 31, 2021 or until the government mandate is lifted will receive 2 complimentary PCR or NAAT tests per room; additional PCR tests can be purchased (cost varies between $150-$250 USD). 

Extended Stay Coverage & Onsite Medical Assistance Insurance

All clients with existing and new reservations of 3 or more nights checking out between January 26 and December 31, 2021 who test positive for COVID-19 will be able to quarantine at the hotel for up to 14 nights at no cost to them. Additionally, onsite medical assistance insurance is included in all clients stays which covers medical expenses such as doctor, medication, and hospitalization.**

*In the event a listed country is no longer requiring a negative test result, the above will no longer apply.
